JetBlack Smart Cities

“Smart cities” are built around the Internet of Things (IoT), an interconnected network of devices that gather, store, and share data while communicating with one another to improve efficiency. This could take the form of monitoring traffic, transport, power and water supplies, as well as other forms of surveillance. Smart cities are being planned the world over such as in Malta, Madrid, Manchester Milan, Islamabad, New York, Singapore and Kenya.

Located deep in the Kapity Plains of Machakos county, overlooking Nairobi, the Athi Smart City  is starting to take shape. jetBlack Group is building a futuristic mega-city, about 60 square miles, from scratch. Athi Smart City sets out to create a new model for sustainable green living, based on advanced technology.

Home to the brightest minds in medicine, AMC shall nurture cross-institutional collaboration, creativity and innovation because together, we can push the limits of what’s possible.

The Athi Biomedical Research Center traces its origins to the great vision seized upon to bring a dream to fruition. The first event occurred on June 9, 2018, when Mr. Keshoney one of the founders of Athi Smart City, met with his attorney, , and signed the trust indenture creating the Eda & Ayub Siele Foundation, with an initial contribution of $10,000. The second event occurred on May 24th 2020, when the Athi Biomedical center appropriated $500,000 for the establishment of a state of the art cancer hospital and research facility, the location, control and management to be under the proposed supervision of the University of Haifa

No one possibly could have foreseen that Mr. Keshoney, had reached a decision to establish a biomedical center in Kenya within the business district in the Athi Smart City, with the cancer hospital being the first unit.
