He holds a Bachelor of Science Upper Second Class, honours University of Nairobi Msc. In Civil Engineering, on going University of Nairobi Membership in Professional Societies Eng. Thuku was appointed as the jetBlack Group group head Engineer in June  2018.

Thirty Five (35) years’ experience in Civil Engineering, in both public and private practices in the provision of consultancy services in Infrastructure development.

Fully conversant in Project development and management process, starting from project feasibility proposal to funding and contract negotiations to design and implementation.

Internationally exposed well trained in water and wastewater engineering that included some training in Power generation and Dam Engineering; Roads and Drainage engineering; urban and rural infrastructure development; and Building and Pile Engineering.

Computer literate and can apply most of engineering software include AutoCAD and Operating systems.
